We are not one person.
We are a systemâmany parts sharing one life, one body, one story. Each of us holds something different: memories, emotions, roles, ways of coping, ways of surviving⊠and sometimes, ways of living.
This is who we are.
đŁ The Hosts (the ones who hold daily life together)
Nowa (35)
The current host. Reflective, expressive, and often the one reaching for words when others canât. Holds the narrative thread of our story and helps translate internal experience into something that can be shared.
Hannah (41)
The thoughtful perfectionist, and often the one trying to make sense of everything. Holds awareness of the trauma and the bigger picture, even when itâs heavy.
Felicity (24)
Co-host and co-parent. Warmer, more outward-facing, socially fluent. Holds early motherhood experiences and often bridges the internal and external world.
Sam (19)
Former host during a significant period of life. Carries body image struggles and shame, but also resilience and endurance.
Hazel (14)
Emotionally complex and deeply affected by past experiences. Navigates intense feelings and struggles with self-worth, but has a quiet strength underneath it all.
Hope (9)
Sensitive, intuitive, and deeply connected to the inner world. Holds emotional links between parts and often carries a quiet awareness of what others feel.
Evie (2)
Pre-verbal and very young. Holds early, sensory experiences. Communicates through feelings rather than words, often needing comfort and safety.
Unknown Little (5â7)
A quieter, less-defined part. Tomboy energy. Still emerging, still figuring out who they are.
đ¶ Trauma Holders (the ones who carry what shouldnât have had to be carried)
Amara (16)
Fierce, powerful, and intense. Holds deep trauma and rage. Protective in a way that can feel overwhelmingâbut her fire exists for a reason.
Keziah âKezziâ (7)
Bold and truth-driven. Holds clear pieces of trauma memory and isnât afraid of it. Protective, direct, and often braver than anyone expects.
Tammy (baby)
Pre-verbal and deeply somatic. Holds body-based memories and raw emotional pain that canât yet be spoken.
Robyn (22)
Carries trauma from young adulthood. Also holds a rescuer identityâcapable, composed, and used to stepping in when things go wrong.
Sunday (30)
Quiet. Observant. Holds more recent trauma. Doesnât speak much, but her presence is deeply felt.
Demi (9)
Small, quiet, and observant. Holds themes of invisibility and safety through not being seen. Gentle, cautious, and deeply affected by early relational experiences.
đ· Supporting Parts (the ones who help us stay human)
Twelve (12)
Connection-bringer. Warm, relational, and nurturing. Helps us reach outward and maintain bonds with others. Very creative and loves to make presents.
Lucy (6)
Playful, pink-loving, and deeply affected by early experiences. Holds confusion around love, safety, and punishment, but also carries softness and longing.
âȘ Introjects (voices shaped by others)
Abe
An internal representation of our father. Not safe. One of the âbad ones.â
Ruth
An internal representation of our mother. Quiet now, especially since her death.
Rose
An internal version of our therapist. Still not fully understood, but present.
âȘ Emerging / Unclear
Calithea âTheaâ (8)
A quiet, wise little presence. Speaks with curiosity and wonder. Feels like she holds something important, even if we donât yet know what.
Mara
An earlier part who no longer exists as one piece, but lives on through Amara, Kezzi, and Tammy.
What this means in practice
We donât all feel the same.
We donât all remember the same things.
We donât all want the same things.
But we share a life.
Some days are coordinated.
Some days are chaotic.
Some days we feel like one.
Some days we feel very much like many.
If youâre reading this
You might only ever meet one of us.
Or a blend.
Or someone who doesnât introduce themselves at all.
That doesnât make them less real.
And at the core of all of thisâŠ
We survived.
Not as one voice.
But as many.
